A lighter and less intrusive form of eye protection than our safety goggles, these safety glasses from Bollé should be worn when cutting tesserae.  The glasses have clear lenses with anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings and comply with UK standard EN166 1.FT.  If you're working outdoors, they do also offer UV protection (conforming to European Standard EN170).   You can almost forget you are wearing these as the frameless design wraps around your eye area, and the glasses are very light at only 28g.  These aren't large enough to wear over normal glasses unless your frames are very slim.
