Mosaic Workshop

For those exploring mosaic for the first time, we have starter packs with tiles, tools (and lots of instructions and encouragement); all you'll have to do is decide whether you want a ceramic pack or a glass one.   Have a look at the pictures with each kit; they will help you decide which material will suit you best. 

Alternatively you can try a kit with a ready-made design - these are intended for adults and are moderately complex but could certainly be followed by a confident beginner.
