HAMMERS AND HARDIES

The time-honoured way of cutting marble, other stone, or smalti is with the combination of a hammer and hardie (the latter is a chisel-shaped blade, mounted into a log or steel base, on which the material to be cut is balanced.  A smart downward tap from the hammer fractures the material precisely).  If you would like to buy both hammer and hardie, I will be able to give you a 5% discount.  This can't currently be applied on the website, so either email me (victoria@mosaicworkshop) and I can email you a reduced invoice, or place your order online and I will give you a 5% refund.  Thanks so much...
